Ennio Morricone, speaks on the language of music
Following the Plenary Assembly of 2008 a committee was established to prepare the subsequent Plenary Assembly in the field of Languages and Communications. A first set of discussions took place with other Dicasteries of the Holy See working in the field and with professors of Communications Studies at the Pontifical Universities. Then an open consultation engaged a series of experts who identified key areas meriting further attention from the Dicastery. These ideas were put to the Members and Consultors in the following consultation paper:
